Chris Leatherberry has more than 20 years of experience working in the construction industry, making him an expert in the semiconductor market. As a Project Executive, Chris is a necessary partner when it comes to client relationships. He focuses on team building, providing direction as an active listener. He is very analytical and is adept at finding innovative solutions to challenges that arise through the lifecycle of semiconductor manufacturing construction projects. Chris is a natural-born leader and public speaker. Working closely with his team, he fosters an environment of collaboration and communication to ensure that there is successful execution of the project. Chris’s career has carried him through field work to virtual construction and now project leadership within the semiconductor industry. During his two decades of experience, he has seen how the industry has evolved in that time. As virtual construction and prefabrication ramped up, Chris says the semiconductor industry has flourished. He welcomed this revolution of technology, positioning him as a trailblazer in this market for Corbins. Corbins is an industrial electrical contractor and the oldest operating company in the Nox Group enterprise. During his career, Chris has found an added passion within the construction industry: focusing on mental health. Chris is passionate about this topic, as he has turned his own experiences with mental health challenges into motivation to inspire others. By telling his story, Chris has stepped up as an advocate for mental health on his job sites and provides support for his team members when needed, using his certification in Mental Health First Aid. On his job sites, Chris has led support meetings and leads conversations on the importance of mental health. Chris has his Project Management Professional certification and is an active member of the Project Management Institute. He credits following in his brother’s footsteps to enter into the construction industry more than two decades ago as a young man—and has not looked back.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They can be found outdoors hiking or playing pickleball. Chris likes to try his hand at different hobbies ranging from playing musical instruments to amateur photography.
